The Confidence Men is another fascinating war story, this time about two prisoners of war during WWI who engineered their escape by an ingenious psychological scheme played out on their captors. I learned that the term “con men” actually comes from the phrase “confidence men,” something that is explained more fully in the book. Loved this one!
